How merging works

Full rules
  • Move onto a friendly piece to merge them.
  • Move either half to split the pair again.
  • The pair may move using either piece's movement.
  • Kings cannot merge with another piece.
  • Capturing a merged square captures both pieces.
  • Pawns move one square; en passant is disabled.
